INTERNSHIPS
Throughout the year we provide students with internship opportunities to learn, grow and develop new skills. Some students even gain college credit for their time with us. This is a flexible, virtual experience that is open to college and high school students. We welcome anyone to consider applying to become intern for our next rotation! Be sure to follow our Instagram, or reach out via email if interested in these opportunities.
PRESENTATIONS
We look to educate students on how their diet has a part in determining their ecological footprint. We have a range of presentations adaptable to various ages on topics like Food Insecurity, Agriculture and Water Quality, the impact of Plastic Packaging, Environmental Justice and the benefits of plant-based eating. If interested in our presentations, be sure to contact us at foodprintedu@gmail.com
This is a program integrated into schools that supports a plant based menu for Monday only. This initiative is a way to expose people to plant-based options, and integrate healthier options into cafeterias. This campaign has been popularized by the Factory Farming Awareness Coalition and is supported by various organizations including FoodPrint Edu. Click on “Green Monday” to learn more.
What's my Foodprint?
WHAT’S A FOODPRINT?
A “foodprint” can be described as the contribution your dietary choices have on your ecological footprint. A great way to see the impact changes you implement – such as eating less red meat, or cycling more plant-based options into your diet – have on the environment. Along with the health benefits, the environmental benefits associated with these practices are also important and should be recognized. Click here for more information.
